Azita Ghanizada

Azita is a native of Kabul, Afghanistan. She is an Afghan American who lives in the United States. Family members fled from Afghanistan and seeking for asylum in US. She was born there. Her family raised her with two sisters and two sisters in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada began her career on television with a role in National Commercials. Ghanizada was portrayed by Chiara in Laura Neri's movie A Kiss on the Nose (2003). For this performance, she received a nomination during the Festival of Cannes for the Best Actress Award. Television guest-starring roles include How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars the Wedding Bells NUMB3RS bones Psych and Castle. Recent roles include the role of a supporting character in Blood Shot, (2009) inspired by the science fiction movie Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada made her debut in 2008 as a cast part of General Hospital's premiertime spinoff General Hospital. As Dr. Saira Bhata, an expert in holistic health care in the second season of Night Shift.
